As a family of four with two teenage sons, we recently visited iPanic Escape Rooms in St Charles and had an incredible experience. If you're new to escape rooms, you'll find that it's like a 3D puzzle with various types of puzzles to solve. The staff was friendly and kept things moving at a good pace.

We appreciated the lack of compound puzzles, making it perfect for newer escape room attendees. The location has few locks and incorporates more puzzles into the overall design. Most rooms are multi-roomed, each with unique puzzles that fit the theme. It's clear that one of the creators had experience in set-design before creating the rooms.

What sets iPanic apart is their attention to decor and props in each room. We've visited all the escape rooms at this location and have always been impressed. Our favorite aspect was the immersive atmosphere, which transported us into the world of fantasy.

However, there were a few moments where we felt frustrated. At one point, two team members tried to solve something, but it wouldn't work as intended. We needed more force than was comfortable for us. The room is challenging enough without limits on our sight due to darkness. While the theme fit well with the darkness, I'm not a fan of using it as a limiter to make the experience more difficult.

The room started small, which made sense given the recommended maximum group size of six people. It's a shame that they're not getting enough foot traffic, but we're excited for their move to a new location next month. With top-notch story, immersion, puzzle design, and flow, iPanic consistently delivers an exceptional experience.

We've visited multiple times and will continue to do so because they excel at every aspect of escape rooms. Our latest adventure was in the Witchcraft room, which lived up to our expectations.
